Ejvinds Bakery was founded in 1956 in Hvide Sande with a focus on excellent craftsmanship and the use of carefully selected ingredients. These values have been passed down through three generations of bakers, and today, the bakery is run as a family business with a passion for balancing tradition and innovation. The vision is to merge classic bakery craftsmanship with new ideas, consistently delivering products created with care and exceptional quality.
Cookies By Ejvinds was founded with the same dedication to quality and craftsmanship. By returning to fundamental methods and using the finest ingredients—such as 100% Danish butter and carefully handled components—the goal of creating the world's best cookies was realized. These cookies are not just baked goods but a form of craftsmanship that reflects the family’s values: honesty, care, and pride in professional artistry.
1956
Lissi and Ejvind Jørgensen founded Ejvinds Bakery in Hvide Sande, establishing a focus on high-quality ingredients and excellent craftsmanship as core values.
1988
Ejvinds yngste søn, Merrild Jørgensen, overtager bageriet sammen med sin kone, Ilse Jørgensen. De driver bageriet i de næste 30 år med fokus på at balancere tradition og innovation.
2008
Ejvinds Bageri is expanding and opening a new store in Søndervig.
2016
Ejvinds Bageri grows to five stores located in Hvide Sande, Ringkøbing, Lemvig and Søndervig.
2018
Two of Merrild and Ilse's sons buy into the family business. This generation takes part in the continuation of the traditional bakery craft.
2020
Cookies By Ejvinds is founded during the corona pandemic. The vision of creating the world's best cookies was realized through traditional methods and the best ingredients.
2022
The last of Merrild and Ilse's sons joins the family business, making Ejvinds Bakery a business run by five family members.
That same year, Cookies By Ejvinds experiences its breakthrough with coverage in articles and TV, leading to increasing demand and recognition.
2024
Cookies By Ejvinds is expanding further and now ships cookies to Denmark, Germany and Sweden. Over 50,000 customers have now tasted our handmade cookies.
